The Butcher’s Daughter Williamsburg

OPENED305 DAYS AGO

The Butcher’s Daughter arrives in Williamsburg.

With two Manhattan locations and even an outpost on LA’s trendy Abbot Kinney Boulevard, it’s about time The Butcher’s Daughter made its way to Williamsburg. Attracting a fashionable crowd of celebrities and models from afar, the plant-based restaurant has become a quintessential New York spot. It’s definitely one of our favorite places for a healthy breakfast, once you get over the wait on a Saturday morning.

The Spot:

Luckily, the new Butcher’s Daughter in Williamsburg is much bigger than its sister locations, located perfectly on the corner between Metropolitan and Driggs Avenue. The space boasts a similar bohemian, laid-back vibe, featuring rustic wooden furnishings, white-washed brick and tons of natural light, while vintage finds add a Brooklyn touch. The plants nod the plant-based menu…

The Food:

Helmed by executive chef Richard Rae, The Butcher’s Daughter serves its beloved dishes such as avocado on toast and breakfast tacos, alongside a selection of Brooklyn-specific newcomers. Try the carrot ‘lox’ bagel with tomatoes and red onion, or the breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, black beans and green salsa.

The Drinks:

The Butcher’s Daughter is more than just a restaurant, offering a juice bar with an endless selection of cold-pressed juices, smoothies and elixir shots. There’s something for every occasion and mood, from the Hangover Killer (with evening primrose oil and yuzu) to the Goddess Of Green (green veggies and spirulina), and 7 Minutes In Heaven, featuring almond butter and vanilla.

The Damage:

Dishes cost around $12-$14; drinks vary between $4 and $12.

In a Nutshell:

Not only is The Butcher’s Daughter in Williamsburg their largest North East location yet, they’ll be opening a co-working and market space next door for community events and more. Stay tuned!
