Where to Watch the Super Bowl 2018

It’s that time of year again: Super Bowl weekend has arrived. Whether you’re on the hunt for the right flavors to enhance your viewing experience, or you’re really just in it for the food anyway (we feel you) – here are the best places and parties in the city.

The media wall…

With over 40 flatscreens and two 20ft media walls, plus a live DJ during commercial breaks, it would be hard to miss the game at Slate. They’ve got a vodka open bar from 5–6pm, plus a bar menu with pizza, tacos and (of course) wings.

Slate, 54 West 21st Street, NY 10010

The themed cocktails…

Vandal are offering a special Super Bowl menu (featuring Jägermeister ribs – hello) alongside their normal fare, a live DJ, giveaways, and football-themed cocktails.

Vandal, 199 Bowery, NY 10002

The wine bar…

Bar Felice

Get a little fancy at Bar Felice, who are offering sliders and a glass of house red for $19 for the occasion, as well as their normal menu.

Bar Felice, 1591 1st Avenue, NY 10028

The pig roast…

You heard us – Rosemary’s are hoasting a pig roast and antipasti buffet, with $15 pitchers of Forst Lager to wash it all down. The game will be shown on big-screen projectors while you eat.

Rosemary’s, 18 Greenwich Avenue, NY 10011

Clinton Hall

All three Clinton Hall locations are hosting first-come-first-serve parties with 20 SUPERCRAFT beers on tap, beer buckets and food specials from each city of the Super Bowl participants. You can join in on the gaming, too, with ping pong, Jenga and Connect 4.

The (indoor) tailgate party…

Bowery Bay

Astoria’s Bowery Bay are offering free pulled pork sliders and chicken tacos, with happy hour drinks including $4 draft beers and $6 wine pours, with the game shown on an 84-inch screen.

Bowery Bay, 19–33 Ditmars Boulevard, NY 11105

The rooftop party…

Monarch Rooftop

Eighteen floors above the city, you’ll find big screen TVs, projectors and party activities like beer pong and flip cup. There’s a one-hour open bar (beer, wine and champagne only) from 5.30pm, $6 whisky shots and $2 fireball shots for every touchdown (we suddenly care a lot more about the scores). Food includes wings, pigs in blankets and nachos.

Monarch Rooftop, 18th Floor, 71 West 35th Street, NY 10001

The unlimited margaritas…

Empellón Al Pastor

For $45, you can get 1.5 hours of unlimited margaritas and select beers,  plus all-you-can-eat tacos (including a cheeseburger taco). All-you-can-eat always sounds like a challenge to us.

Empellón Al Pastor, 132 St. Marks Place, NY 10009
