North 3rd Street Market

OPENED357 DAYS AGO

A new food hall lands in Williamsburg – North 3rd Street Market is now open.

Brought to you by MRKTPL – a hospitality-focused creative agency founded by Manny Del Castillo and Jamie Hinojos – in collaboration with development firm LENY, North 3rd Street Market is Williamsburg’s first year-round market.

The Spot:

Bringing together the city’s favorite dining destinations alongside growing brands, North 3rd Street Market features both permanent and pop-up concepts in the 15,000 square-feet space. While the first vendors are opening on May 29, several dining spots will be arriving in the next few weeks.

The Food:

North 3rd Street Market includes some of New York’s most sought-after spots, from Corner Bistro’s classic burgers to legendary pizza by Di Fara and vegan Mexican heaven Jajaja. The food hall will also introduce brand new concepts, such as Harvest2Order – the world’s first ever microgreen salad bar concept – and, Joy Does, a bar by Loosie Rouge, which is opening on a later date. For dessert, there’s Mexican ice cream by La Newyorkina and American-style macarons by Dana’s Bakery.

The Drinks:

Drinks vary per vendor, but you can get your caffeine fix at Champion Coffee.

The Damage:

Prices are expected to be similar to the restaurants’ original outposts.

In a Nutshell:

While Williamsburg is home to the city’s most popular food market in the summer – Smorgasburg – the only thing that was missing from the ever-expanding neighborhood was a permanent food hall. Now, the new North 3rd Street Market is likely to make Williamsburg even busier, but it’s all worth it for good food – the more the merrier (the food, that is).
