Harlem Hookah Lounge

OPENED1162 DAYS AGO

Harlem Hookah Lounge – a new spot where blowing smoke inside is highly encouraged – has just opened in New York.

Typically, downtown Manhattan is home to bars like these but owner (and former New York Jets player), Stephen Bowen, has decided to fill the gap for a much needed spot in Harlem with his new spot. Bowen, who also played professional football for teams in Washington D.C and Dallas has decided he’s ready for a new project so opened Harlem Hookah Lounge with his wife, Tiffany, in a bid to add more to the hookah scene uptown.

As one might expect with a name like Harlem Hookah Lounge, the range of hookah flavors is not disappointing. Choose from a range of traditional fruity flavors like orange, grapefruit and strawberry as well as more exotic flavors like ice lemon mint, blue mint and skittles. They also offer liquor flavored hookah including a Cosmopolitan, Tequila Sunrise and a Pina Colada.

To accompany all that hookah, there are also a range of classic American bar snacks including wings, mac & cheese and even a three cheese quesadilla. Signature cocktails are available for $12 a pop and include a Harlem twist on a classic margarita and a Harlem mule.

In addition to beer on tap and a variety of wine and champagne, they are also offering wine flights, comprised of 5 different varieties of wines for $16. No doubt this is going to be a place for affordable debauchery and, to make things even more inviting, they’re also celebrating their opening for the entire month of October with Happy Hour every day from 4pm-6pm.

Harlem Hookah Lounge is white and fresh in appearance with tables and sofas scattered around for groups to congregate and share a hookah. A large marble bar is the focal point of the spot whilst the rest of the space is fitted with wood floors, chandeliers and a state of the art sound system pumps out the tunes until 4am.
