The Most Exciting NYC Restaurants Coming Soon: Pisellino

Each week, we’re giving you a sneak peek into New York’s future plans – the ones we’re really excited about. From restaurants to must-visit events and luxurious hotels, this city has so much in store for us and we’re sharing her secrets with you. This week, it’s the newest project by chefs Rita Sodi and Jody Williams, bringing you another West Village spot: Pisellino.

Similar to their other restaurants – Buvette, I Sodi and Via Carota – the new spot takes inspiration from European traditions, and this time it’s all about Italy’s classic café-meets-bar-meets-restaurant concept. Welcoming locals at any time of the day, Pisellino will serve coffee and pastries in the morning; paninis and light snacks for lunch, while small dishes and cocktails arrive as the day unfolds.

Located opposite their Italian restaurant Via Carota, the spot will be small yet cozy, featuring a bar in the center, and outdoor seating for you to soak up the sun – we’ll just pretend we’re in Italy. Stay tuned…
