The Most Exciting NYC Bar & Restaurant Opening Soon: Braven Brewing Company
Each week, we’re giving you a sneak peek into New York’s future plans – the ones we’re really excited about. From restaurants to cool bars and luxurious hotels, this city has so much in store for us and we’re sharing her secrets with you. This week it’s a massive project by Braven Brewing Company – the craft beer maker based in Brooklyn.
Set to open in the summer, co-founders Marshall S. Thompson and Eric Feldman are bringing a brewery, bar and restaurant to Bushwick – an area that has a rich brewing history. Opening such a diverse venue requires a lot of hard work, and the two have been working on it for years.
“Eric (Feldman) and I are thrilled to finally have a brick-and-mortar location in Bushwick where we can directly connect and engage with our community every day.” – Co-Founder and CEO of Braven Brewing Company.
Located inside the former Lantern Hall space, Braven is currently installing an electric brewing system to brew a wide variety of beer styles, from German altbiers and doppelbocks to inventive sours and dry hopped beers. While the rotating variety of beers is available to enjoy at Braven’s bar and restaurant, you can also buy their bottles to take away.
At the sixty-seat restaurant, the menu will feature classic pub fare such as burgers, wings, and sandwiches. As Braven is predominantly a brewery, it’s only fitting that beer makes an appearance in the dishes, offering beer cheese nachos and chicken bratwurst marinated in white IPA.
When will it open? Summer 2018
