Daily Provisions

OPENED1560 DAYS AGO

Daily Provisions, a coffee and sandwich shop by Danny Meyer and the USHG group debuts next door to Union Square Café on 19th street. The café focuses on takeout that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The tiny space was created by Rockwell Group who designed it with a blue interior accented by brass, wood, marble and features a dazzling centerpiece by Chris Pence and Mark Warren of HAAND, a North Carolina-based, hand crafted ceramics company. Custom furniture and fixtures designed by Rockwell transforms Daily Provisions from a morning bakery to a 29-seat dining room in the evening serving a set menu from Chef Carmen Quagliata.

Daily Provisions breakfast includes baked leavened breads baked on site in the basement with freshly milled Maine-grown grains. The bakery will supply all of Union Square Café and Daily Provisions’ focaccia, rolls, baguettes, caraway reyes, and USC sprezzatura – the house loaf. The menu also features crullers, breakfast sandwiches, salads, rotisserie chicken and a selection of sweets by Pastry Chef Daniel Alvarez. Daily Provisions serves warm and cold Joe Coffee beverages and artisanal tea from In Pursuit of Tea. Craft beers, wine, cold brew and batch cocktails are served on tap with growlers available for guests to fill and take to go.
